Hi there! I’m a friendly, dependable person with a big love for nature, kids, animals, and hands-on work. My background is a mix of science (I’ve worked for years as an analytical chemist) and the outdoors — I’ve spent time on small farms, in gardens, and working with children as a summer camp counselor.
I also have plenty of experience caring for my niece and young cousins, so I’m very comfortable with kids of all ages. Whether it’s playing, helping with homework, or just keeping them safe and happy, I genuinely enjoy being around children and creating a fun, nurturing environment.
For the past two years, I’ve also worked as a house sitter and pet sitter, taking care of people’s homes and animals while they’re away. I’m extremely reliable, respectful of other people’s spaces, and always make sure pets are well-loved and routines are followed closely.
One of the biggest reasons I’m drawn to Workaway is my love for learning — especially when it comes to new cultures, languages, and ways of life. I really value meaningful human connection, and I think there’s something so special about sharing meals, exchanging recipes, and learning from each other’s stories and traditions. These kinds of experiences fill me up and inspire me deeply.
