Description
Hey! I'm Javier, a 20-year-old from Missouri, USA, taking a break from work to backpack Europe for a few months. I've been working in tech since I was 16, so I'm pretty handy with computers, websites, social media, and troubleshooting tech issues - happy to help hosts with any of that stuff. I grew up in the countryside with sheep, chickens, and farm animals, so I'm comfortable in rural environments even though I wasn't super hands-on with the work. That said, I'm totally open to farm stays and learning those skills.
I'm excited to improve my language skills, especially Spanish, meet people from different cultures, and experience life outside my comfort zone. I love snowboarding, staying active, and I'm always down to learn new skills whether that's farming, cooking, or something totally different.
This is my first big solo trip, so I'm coming in with an open mind and ready to work hard. I'm reliable, easy-going, and really interested in learning from the places I visit and the people I meet. Looking forward to making this adventure happen through Workaway!

More details about your skills
I'm reliable, hardworking, and excited to learn new skills on this trip. I'm adaptable and comfortable jumping into different types of work - whether that's physical labor, hospitality, creative projects, or helping around a farm. I grew up in the countryside with sheep, chickens, dogs, and farm cats, so I'm comfortable around animals and rural environments. I also have experience with customer service and communication from my previous work.
One thing I can offer that might be useful: I've worked in IT for about 4 years, so if you need help with tech stuff - websites, social media, troubleshooting computers, networking issues, or general tech support - I'm happy to help with that too. I want to experience different types of projects and learn new skills.
Languages:

Spanish (elementry, actively working on improving it)
What I'm most excited to learn:
Farming, sustainable living, cooking local cuisines, hostel operations, home renovation, or really anything you're willing to teach. I'm here to work hard, be useful, and gain experience in areas outside my comfort zone.

What else ...
I'm into fitness, nutrtion, and staying active. I love snowboarding and I'm hoping to hit the slopes while I'm in Europe. I'm also working on content creation as a side project, so I enjoy photography and videography when I'm traveling.
I'm a pretty chill person who's easy to get along with. I enjoy good conversations and am always curious to hear people's stories and perspectives. I try to stay organized and tidy.
Also happy to help with any random projects or tasks that come up - I'm genuinely here to be useful and make your life easier while learning as much as I can. Looking forward to connecting!
