I am currently
At home
Description
I am British but have lived in Bretagne, France since 2014. I travelled in a horse-drawn caravan for 10 years with my son, horse, dogs and chickens, working as a gold leaf artist/ restorer. I am also a potter, and I paint and exhibit. Good at manual and creative tasks, I'm also reasonably IT-literate and possess a strong visual sense.
My son has recently started a four-year university course away from home, so now I'd like to travel again, to meet people, to help them, to learn new things, and to relax a while.
You will find me hardworking, practical, hands-on and ready to commit 100%. My biggest limitation is that I have back pain so I try not to lift heavy objects. I usually learn new things quickly.
Ideally I'd like to be part of an art project, paint murals, create sculptures, maybe work collaboratively. However I enjoy any outdoor work, especially working with herbs and gardening. I still don't know how to do many things but I really want to learn.
It would benefit me to learn how to use lime or clay for wall coverings, to explore new art techniques, and to learn more about plants and their uses for health and wellbeing.
I am very much at home surrounded by nature, and it always inspires my art.
I am very open to new ideas and am happiest when making new friends or exploring new places and experiences. I love conversation but sometimes I am quiet and thoughtful. I am always honest, and try to be true both to myself and to others.Languages spoken
