Hi Hello :)

Nice to meet you! I am going to be traveling for about a year, just going with the flow wherever I feel drawn to.

A little about me: I am a 26 year old from the United States. I previously worked as a grid planner in the energy industry for several years but I decided to take a break from that to travel. I still love energy related projects though (!) and will usually get excited about anything relating to infrastructure. I am a positive, open minded person, who is thoughtful and enjoys being around people.

Some of my likes: books, hiking/trekking, spicy foods, swimming, skiing, wild flowers, yoga, baking

Motivators: I’m feeling very open to all experiences. Until now I’ve lived in the same town my whole life, and I’m excited to be out seeing new places and meeting new people without having to think about the time ending. I would like to work on speaking Spanish as well as doing more carpentry/DIY/building type work, but again I am open to pretty much anything at the moment.

-life guard and swim lessons instructor
-nanny and babysitter for many families over many years
-life time employee of my family’s wildflower nursery , digging roots, driving tractors, clearing brush with chainsaws, weeding flower beds, harvesting seeds and roots
-conservation biology intern (hiking trail land management) pulling invasive species, applying pesticide, boardwalk repair
-quality assurance in a lab that brews beer
-solar power project manager
-introductory sailing lessons instructor

I have been exposed to a wide variety of jobs so far in life, which has made me a quick learner. I love to try new things and learn new skills
