Description
We’re a young French couple who just finished our studies in nature conservation and environmental management (we studied in Carcassonne, in the south of France).
Now, we’ve decided to take a gap year to discover the world, connect with people from different backgrounds, and learn about Australian culture and language — and that’s why we’re planning our Working Holiday in Australia.
Let us introduce ourselves properly so you know who we really are.
My name is Julien Bonetti, I’m 20 years old, and I’m passionate about nature and animals. I come from the Béarn region in the south-west of France — it’s a beautiful area (and yes, it's where the iconic French beret comes from!).
I’ll be travelling with my partner Cindy, who is also 20. She comes from the Alps in the south-east of France.
We’ve been together for almost a year now, and we share a lot of passions — especially our love for animals and nature. We’re both volunteers in two animal protection organisations, and we love spending time outdoors, discovering new places, hiking, helping out, and learning by doing.
We’re both open-minded, hard-working, and curious to learn about new ways of life. We really hope to share great moments, lend a hand where it’s needed, and create meaningful connections during this adventure.
