Hi! I'm a student and teacher spending my summer break until the end of September in Latin America. Currently I’m in Costa Rica and I’ll be arriving in Mexico on August 18th. Traveling, especially in Latin America, has become a passion of mine. I've traveled in Costa Rica, Colombia and Ecuador, where I spent three months teaching English, and I've been to Mexico various times including in 2019 when I spent a few months in Queretero working at a guesthouse through workaway. I am looking for a workaway in Mexico I can spend 3 to 5 weeks at and I’m available as early as August 18th.

Hola! Soy estudiante y maestra pasando mis vacaciones de verano hasta finales de septiembre en Latinoamérica. Actualmente estoy en Costa Rica y estaré llegando a México el 18 de agosto. Viajar, especialmente en países de Latinoamérica, se ha convertido en una de mis pasiones. He viajado a Costa Rica, Colombia y Ecuador, donde pasé tres meses enseñando inglés, y pasé unos meses en México a través de workaway en 2019. Estoy buscando un workaway en el que pueda pasar 3 a 5 semanas y estoy disponible desde el 18 de agosto.

I am CPR/first aid certified and i have a TESOL certificate from the University of Cincinnati. I am currently working toward a masters degree in marriage and family therapy. For the last 7 years I have worked with children from ages 1 to 13 as a preschool and summer camp/after school teacher and before then I worked as a waitress. I have experience teaching English as a second language with children and adults. During my last workaway experience I worked as a housekeeper at a Airbnb guesthouse and I greatly enjoyed the experience.

I went to an arts high school (Cincinnati’s School for Creative and Performing Arts) and recieved my diploma in the arts for creative writing. I have experience in all kinds of writing including professional writing and marketing, though poetry and music is what I choose to write in my free time.

Through my experiences I have developed a strong work ethic and valuable interpersonal social skills. My experiences have given me the patience, compassion, and knowledge to work great in teams and my variety of different experiences allow me to adapt to situations quickly and take on new skills easily.

Estoy certificado en RCP/primeros auxilios y tengo un certificado TESOL de la Universidad de Cincinnati. Actualmente estoy estudiando para obtener una maestría en terapia matrimonial y familiar. Durante los últimos 7 años he trabajado con niños de 1 a 13 años como maestra de preescolar y campamento de verano/extracurricular y antes de eso trabajé como camarera. Tengo experiencia enseñando inglés como segundo idioma con niños y adultos. Durante mi última experiencia con workaway, trabajé como ama de llaves en una guesthouse de Airbnb y disfruté mucho la experiencia.

Fui a una escuela secundaria de artes (Cincinnati School for Creative and Performing Arts) y recibí mi diploma en artes para escritura creativa. Tengo experiencia en todo tipo de escritura, incluida la escritura profesional y el marketing, aunque elijo escribir poesía y música en mi tiempo libre.
