ABOUT ME
I'm adventurous, love to have fun and care deeply about making the world a better place. For the past 10 years I have been working in not-for-profit start up organisations in London. I started an organisation that renovates and reopens community spaces, I helped set up an organisation that supports local governments to find the most talented new employees, and I've run a series of interactive events that help people to explore themselves and their relationships. At the moment I help run an initiative that grows food and teaches the community about growing. In my spare time, I go out with friends, go to see live music (there's some great jazz in London), play sport (boxing and football) and am doing an oral history with my Grandma who moved from Jamaica to the UK in the 1970s.

WHY I WANT TO WORKAWAY
I'm coming to Jamaica to spend some time away from London and reconnect with Jamaica. I'll be in the island for a month. I've had some amazing experiences doing Workaway in Brasil and Portugal, and it's always been a great way to meet people and do something meaningful while travelling.

BUSINESS / NOT-FOR-PROFIT / START UPS
For the past 10 years I have worked with not-for-profit start up businesses. I have started my own business, worked in start ups and I regularly mentor entrepreneurs who are starting their own not-for-profit businesses.

RENOVATION / MAINTENANCE AND GARDENING
I spent 3 years running a not-for-profit business that renovated community spaces. I currently help run an initiative growing food and teaching others to grow food. I'm not technically a grower, but I know more than you're average person and I'd love to share what we do with a project in Jamaica.

TEACHING ENGLISH
I'm a native English speaker and taught English as a foreign language in South Korea.

CHILDCARE
I worked in a nursery for 2 years.
