Description
Hi, I'm Jorik, 18 and just finished high school in Germany. Now I want to travel the world, learn new things, help others and have fun ;). I enjoy almost everything that has something to do with nature, outdoor activities (eg. surfing, sailing, cycling, hiking, skiing, ...), animals, diy, crafting, building, science, electronics, (model-)airplanes, boats,... In short, I don't know what I wouldn't like doing as long as it's not just boring repetitive tasks all day, although I know, sometimes that's just what has to be done rn.

I do lots of diy projects like building radio controlled model vehicles and airplanes, electronics projects (eg. an led-stary sky lamp) or larger ones like building a wooden terrace. I am not so talented when it comes to arts/painting but I have done it several times as well (would love to learn it though).
Working with computers/ other devices is no problem for me ;). I also program applications for my diy projects (eg. a model railway control system) or simple games. I'm also active in the German association of engineers (VDI), where I teach kids how to program, build robots and other projects, 3d-print and so on.
Regarding household tasks, I'd say my mother prepared my quite well. I also have experience in house sitting as me and my family did that in Australia for three awesome months, two years ago ;). About animals: We also cared for two goats in Australia, I had rabbits myself and I oftentimes helped my grandmother with her horses.
As I'm outdoors quite often, I know things like how to camp, how to start fires without starting wildfires, basic knots and so on.
I have never been an expert in any specific sport but I like (among others) climbing, windsurfing, sailing, ice skating, volleyball and can swim well (got the golden swimming badge in Germany and did a surf life saver course in Australia).
I love learning new things! maybe I can also teach you something ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
