Hi :) I'm Johanna, 27, and I'm a solo traveller soon arriving in New Zealand to discover the island and the culture. I'm looking to experience new things and meet new people, hopefully make some good friends along the way :) About me: I have been working as a trained hairdresser for 3 years now, as i have discovered my passion.
Before that, I used to be an English teacher for 2 years for middle school and high school kids, so am fluent in English, and I love children so would be happy to look after and teach French/English/basic Spanish/basic Maths/science, if need be. Have also worked as a waitress in a restaurant for 1 year where I developed a passion for good food made with fresh products, paired with good wine :) (in moderation of course)
I love animals and nature, I have 2 cats at home and grew up near farm animals in south west France (Agen). I love rnb/reggae/hip hop/folk/indie rock/afro/dancehall music, I like yoga and dancing, and I'm a big foodie - I enjoy the good things in life :)
Also I'm always down to participate in any kind of manual/construction project even though I'm not very experienced, I won't be the brains of the project but I can certainly help since I'm a quick learner :) See you soon!

I have a degree in English studies, and I passed the official exam to be an English teacher in France. I stopped teaching 5 years ago but still love spending time with kids or teenagers and teaching them about stuff And since my education revolves around languages and linguistics, I am always interested in learning a new language and the culture that comes with it

- I used to be an English teacher for middle school kids in France so I can take care of kids, plan activities for them, teach them French/ other
- I have 2 cats at home and am an animal lover, grew up in the countryside so love nature and taking care of pets and farm animals (not a lot of exp with farming but would love to learn)
- I have experience with working in restaurants, waiting tables, taking care of clients, making drinks, cleaning spaces, etc
- I am now a licensed hairdresser so able to cut and color any type of hair if you want a change ;)
- I'm a very quick learner, you explain something to me, I get it and I do it !

I love board games! Other hobbies of mine include art (drawing painting...), taking walks in nature or biking, listening to a lot of music and finding new hairstyles to try out :)
