Hi there!
I'm Jodi. I'm 19 years old, currently a gap year student from Vietnam. Also, I work part-time as an English teacher in Vietnam.
Last year, I was in the US studying in college. However, realizing I was still uncertain about lots of things, my major, my future, and especially myself, I decided to come back home and take a gap year. It's been 6 months since then already. I spent most of the time at home learning some online courses; sometimes I traveled around Vietnam, and I went to Taiwan as the first abroad country in my gap year. Right now, I've finished the courses and ready for the unexpected which may help me broaden my horizons and discover about my inner self.
Therefore, I want to go abroad and do something valuable not just for me but also for others. I want to share my own perspectives which are influenced by my age, my experiences, and my richly cultural hometown, Vietnam and to listen/learn from other individuals from distinct backgrounds and life experiences.
As for my characteristics, I'm not sure if I'm an open-minded, but I believe each individual is uniquely beautiful the way they are, which makes me want to get to know more people, to be able to speak to and to listen to one another. Additionally, I'm an introverted person, but that doesn't mean I don't want to be with others.

More details about my language interests
I started learning English seriously since I was in sixth grade because I was interested in Youtube videos in English. However, gradually, I realized a new language has opened so many doors for me to understand new cultures, perspectives, and many things else. So I'm passionate about learning new languages and also willing to teach people about a language.

About my practical experiences, I've been teaching English, including international certificates like IELTS, SAT, for over a year (I got 8.0 for IELTS). My students' ages are diverse. Apart from English, I speak Vietnamese and know a little bit of Mandarin.
If it counts as experience, I just finished two online courses on Introduction to Psychology and English Composition.
