I'm Jocelyn and I'm on my gap year(s) before starting university to study Physics. I'm currenlty trying to improve my French by travelling around francophone Europe this February-April. I like to travel by train and other public transport, so it's important for me that hosts are reasonably connected or can pick me up from the station.

I'm looking for experiences where I can spend time with other volunteers as well as locals, I find there's always so much to learn just from talking with people from different backgrounds. I also like to explore the local area in my free time, whether that's visiting a nearby town/city or discovering the countryside on foot or by bike. In terms of work, I'd love to do anything with craft/DIY, animals or outdoors including physical work - I'm not the strongest but I am determined! I'm also happy to do household tasks like cleaning and laundry.

My dream volunteering opportunity would be one where I can be with nature and/or learn more about sustanability.

I've been vegan for 5 years, and I'd love to share cooking knowledge with hosts and other volunteers if that can be accomodated :)

I grew up helping in my home garden, so I have a baseline of gardening knowledge which I've been improving with volunteering work this year. I also have experience working as a cleaner and with various DIY projects.

In general, I'm a quick learner and I'd love to have a go at whatever you throw at me!
