Description
Hello! I am a classical guitarist and teacher from Portugal. After nurturing a career teaching guitar for over 10 years (having students as young as 4 year olds and as old as 67) I recently decided it is time to pursue a new adventure. I’m relatively new to workaway and currently looking for a volunteering experience abroad. I am excited about exploring, learning new skills, development and helping communities.

In my last workaway experiences I had the opportunity to do gardening (both in private and community gardens), renovations, carpentry, cleaning, cooking, child care and also work for an animal sanctuary with one donkey, pigs, rabbits, sheep, chicken, cats and dogs. I am a classical guitarist and teacher with over 10 years' experience. In the past I've also volunteered at a dog shelter, in which I was in charge of cleaning, accommodating and caring for the animals, and in a children's summer workshop, in which I carried out socio-cultural activities with children, such as artistic activities, group dynamics games and expression games. I've worked briefly in fruit picking and touristic activities. During high school, my internship involved the promotion of socio-cultural activities linked to the promotion of reading habits among both young people and the elderly in the context of a Social Work course.
