I am a brazilian guy who loves life, people, travelling and a lot more other stuff. Of course, I am really curious. Kind of addicted to everything that is new. Also, I am a journalist but, nowadays, i quit my two jobs to descover more of the world and fullfiling the old dream of travelling. It is a privilegde and I am trying to do my best with it. So, I help people when I can (durring the voluntering time or not) and I try to enjoy every moment of party, peace, crazyness, happyness or sadness.

Professionally, I am a journalist with almost ten year of experiences in newsrooms. Lately, I am learning about SEO and copyrighting. I like these subjects. I know how to write and also edit or proofread something.
As a person, I have good skills in interpersonal relationships and talking. I love talking. It can be a small or big chat. I like both. For me, sharing is caring. So, i like to share experiences and also things with everyone i feel comfortable to do it.

It was my first workaway experience. I was afraid. Teach kids and help a school seemed crazy to me in the beginning but IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST EXPERIENCES IN MY WHOLE TRIP UNTIL NOW. I have lived a lot of amazing things in these 6 months travelling. Kosal, Kim, Falina, Kevin and the students made me feel at home all the time. Even… read more Kosal’s mother made me feel so cool giving all the sweet stuff all the time. I loved. I was in Kampong Speu’s school. I thought about staying for 7 days and extended for 9 days because it was really good.
I do not know how they can handle so much activities in the school, take care of the house and still have time to have a nice dinner, with amazing conversations with me all the nights. They need help with the English classes and with some things around the school. I helped with everything I could. I LOVED TO PLAY WITH THE KIDS. They made me play football. One thing that I never do (Yeah, not all Brazilians like football lol).
I had my time respected all the time even the moments I wanted to be by myself. I wanna come back at least to visit the kids and I really hope the fundraise to finish the classes works out.
I recommend the School to everyone!

Foi a minha primeira experiência com a Workaway. Eu estava com medo. Ensinar crianças e ajudar uma escola parecia louco no início, mas FOI UMA DAS MELHORES EXPERIÊNCIAS EM TODA A MINHA VIAGEM ATÉ AGORA. Eu vivi inúmeras maravilhosas experiências nesses seis meses viajando. Kosal, Kim, Falina, Kevin e os estudantes me fizeram sentir em casa durante todo o tempo. Até a mãe de Kosal me fez sentir tão bem, me dando um monte de coisas doces o tempo todo. Eu amei! Eu estava na escola em Kampong Speu. Eu pensei em ficar por lá apenas 7 dias, mas acabei ficando 9 porque era muito legal.
Eu não sei como eles conseguem lidar com tantas atividades na escola, cuidar da casa e ainda ter tempo para ótimos jantares, com maravilhosas conversas todas as noites. Eles precisam de ajuda com as aulas de inglês e com algumas coisas em relação a escola. Eu ajudei no que pude. Mas eu amei mesmo foi BRINCAR COM AS CRIANÇAS. Elas me fizeram jogar futebol. Uma coisa que eu não faço nunca (Sim! Nem todo brasileiro gosta de futebol haha).
Eu tive meu tempo respeitado todas as vezes, mesmo quando eu queria ficar sozinho. Eu quero voltar para, pelo menos, visitar as crianças. Eu espero que a vakinha para finalizar as salas de aula funcione. Eu recomendo a Scholl para todo mundo!!!!
