I am 24 years old and a university graduate in Sports Therapy. The last two years I’ve been busy exploring Europe and as many country’s as I can. Whilst travelling I’ve accomplished many dream goals and picked up skills which I’ve always wanted to learn, including self converting a van, scuba diving, working ski seasons, and enjoying what life offers.
My childhood resulted in trudging through knee deep mud, feeding our range of farm animals on Dartmoor in Devon, including birds of prey, dogs, cats, ducks, geese, sheep, cows, horses and ponies, the list goes on! When I'm in the countryside surrounded by animals, green fields, and the fresh country breeze I'm in my element.
I have been bought up around farms my whole life, giving me plenty of experiences around animals, machinery, and maintenance work. After university I caught the bug to travel and learn as many new skills as possible. After my many years on Dartmoor I also found the love for the sea which introduced me to a wider range of sports and skill sets.
Overall I’m extremely sporty and hard working, always open to learning new skills and offering as much as I can, even if thats sitting around the fire with the uke having a jam.
I have previous experience working with workaways and always enjoy a new adventure!
Now I’ve ventured Europe I'm now exploring the horizon for more!
I am originally from Portugal where I've spent most of my time growing up. During Uni I had my first travelling experience for a period of half year on the Canary Islands. Since then I returned with the mindset of doing and seeing more. After saving some money I embarked on a 2 year journey that took me to Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia. Over this period of time I couldn't stop thinking of the amount of skills and knowledge that I picked up and of all the amazing people I met. My view over the world had suffered a massive shake.
So since then, going back to Portugal every now and again (to surf and see family and friends), I've tried to set my course on places and situations that would allow me to get a little bit more: being knowledge or a new skill or experiences. I am most happy outside and with my hands quite busy, and at the end of the day if I a have a sore body then I'm pleased to use my mind to wander around.

We’re both very respectful and always look after the places and people we live with.
Sports is a big part of our lives...Including both individual and team sports. Due to always being active this means we’re physically and mentally fit, making it hard to sit still and avoid being productive... we’d much rather jump on a bicycle rather then catch a bus! Between us we both have previous knowledge and experience in farming, animal keeping, boat work, gardening and maintenance/building. We both love DIY work, and enjoy the accomplishment of making things from scratch.
