Description

Passionate about travelling, meeting like-minded people and living through experiences, I'm looking for a new adventure!

From a young age, my mind has been largely occupied with my desire to see the world, meet new people and live my life in a way that's fulfilling to me.

Over the past 4 years, I have taken every opportunity to travel during vacation periods from university, completing extended-period workaways. I thrive on being away from home and meeting like-minded people!

I have a passion for hospitality; bar work, food making and cleaning, and have a wealth of experience from the past 7 years working in the industry whist studying. I hope to bring my skills and love for the job into a new Workaway experience!

Nothing makes me more content than exploring a new city and culture, making new friends, building a community and trying new things.

- 2 months volunteering in a hostel in Italy (summer 2023) - reception, housekeeping, general maintenance and cleaning, administrative work and organising social activities.
- 2 months volunteering in a hostel in Greece (summer 2022) - similar responsibilities to previous (Italy).
- 3 months in Barcelona housekeeping and dog sitting (summer 2021) (AuPair.com)
- Studied Marketing and have experience with digital marketing and the running of professional social media pages
- Experience in hospitality and retail over the past 7 years as a part-time waitress, bartender, housekeeping and customer service assistant - these jobs have led me to develop skills in; customer care and relations, admin work, organisation, cleanliness, effective teamwork and general hospitality skills.

- Solo travel: Backpacked Thailand, Spain, The Balkans, Portugal, France, Greece, Italy, Croatia
- I have stayed in many hostels over past years, so I am very aware of the way they function and the work required

I have recently graduated from a UK top 10 University with a degree in Sociology, and am now looking for my next adventure!

I am mainly looking for hostel volunteering work to provide the best time possible for guests, although I am also open to other opportunities

I imagine a career in the hospitality hotel/hostel industry... my dream is to own a hotel on the Mediterranean coast!

I love to play and watch sports! I play cricket and I love Formula 1.

I am passionate about equality, campaigning for women in sports, and environmental matters

My favourite thing about travelling is the people that I meet!
