Description
Hey lovely souls!
My name is Jesse, a life-long philosophy student (Nietzsche:D), a bonding vagabond, a touch & movement lover, an aficionado of linguistics, a little humanity-and-ecology advocate, an apprentice of regenerative & conscious practices, a community explorer, a devotee to genuine, playful & sensual connection, a seeker of the sacred, mystic & spiritual... and much more! Currently, and for the past years, I've been on-and-off-roaming with mostly commuting between my birth country Luxembourg, Cologne, Latin America and Southern Europe.
I'm eager to embrace soulful encounters with beautiful beings, inspiring volunteering experiences, and novel challenges stimulating mind, body and soul! As a somewhat outgoing introvert, I'm both fond of human interaction and the collective trance, and of turning my awareness inwards, connecting with my self and healing in that inner retreat mode.
Guided by the principle of love, I'm captivated by the idea of helping to connect and expand global consciousness by genuine, simple/subtle acts of joy, empathy, and solidarity! For we all share this existence on this enthralling rock floating through limitless space (or so)!
Past travel experiences and life's lessons considerably helped me uncover previously neglected potentials and widened my perspectives in various realms! I am deeply thankful for all those transformative insights I was gifted with while being on the road – from solving very personal struggles surrounding identity and privilege (as European white educated male) to reflecting about meaningful existence in increasingly meaningless modern times; from picking up different notions or languages, cultural practices or ways of living to realising that in all diversity there is union; from preparing and serving wholesome food on a Tribal Gathering Festival in Panama, surfing community dynamics at a Costa Rican Surfcamp, immersing into the cultivation of coffee, ecology and permaculture in Colombia to blissfully being stuck during Covid-19 outbreak in a Dominican eco-lodge, engaging with bio-construction in remote Andalucia or self-sufficiency in the Catalan hinterlands or Portugal's Alentejo – and all the while connecting to my self, regressing, growing, struggling, doubting, wondering, hurting, flowing, putting down roots, making friends and family all over the places!
One crucial point on my learning agenda still is to cultivate a deeper understanding of how we, as a species, and especially, as individuals, can re-engage with the natural world. By trying to learn from projects that implement regenerative and sustainable ways of being and living – both in the outer and inner world – I hope to be able to apply this rich tapestry of pro-vital practices and visions in my own life endeavours and create myself a community place in favour of all life that values the bond between its human and non-human dwellers.
Love!

More details about your skills
Graduated in philosophy and social anthropology, as well as freelancing as a journalist, translater and author, I'm avid of words, doing research and connecting ideas and people.
Raised in a multilingual environment (Luxembourgish, German, French, and English), and ever-drawn to multiculturalism and internationalism, I'm aching to teach languages and inspiring people with the very singular beauty of letters, ideas, and cultural practices/customs.
Blending professional experiences in journalism and tourism also helped me get acquainted and adept with getting administrative jobs done, writing articles about travel destinations, or investigating people and places all over this intriguing planet.
Also, and most importantly, I love being outdoors, immersing in the elements and connecting to nature's cycle and rhythms crafting, creating, constructing and manifesting things. I'm always grateful to express my love for being in service for the community and my passion and knowledge of food and healthy cooking through nourishing soulful meals. I have some moderate/solid knowledge and experience in carpentry, gardening, permacultural practices, bio-construction, handcrafting, hospitality, cooking, co-organising and facilitating ceremonies and (ecstatic) dance/ playfulness/sensuality/conscious workshops.
Overall, I’m eager to engage, commit, and create, shifting my beings and doings more from the analytical realm towards the manifest, immediate aspects of life – doing mindful construction work, cleaning, pruning, gardening, sewing seeds, cooking, painting, crafting, in short: diversifying my experiences and expanding as a multi-faceted being in this rich life!Age
