Hi! My name is Jen, I'm 27 years old and why I am on here: I believe it is so incredibly valuable to connect with all kinds of people, soaking up and sharing the wisdom & life experiences that are all around us. I normally like to stay in places for a bit of a longer period of time rather than hopping around every couple of weeks. It makes me feel more grounded and in this way I'm able to truly get to know a place and its people.
I'm an open person, and I am always interested and intrigued in how other people live, travel, think and do life.
Furthermore, I'm sportive and like to stay active (surf, yoga, fitness, run), I really enjoy cooking and baking - absolutely love good food - and I need to be close to the ocean, under the sun and in nature.

I finished my degree in human movement science, and with that background in science I also felt the pull towards holistic healthcare. So I became a certified holistic massage therapist, a job I love doing! I also just finished my 200h yoga teacher training and I am excited to see where that may take me.

I have experience in lots of different areas of hospitality: restaurant work, barista, renovating and re-opening a hotel/hostel & bar, reception work & managing, cleaning and the managing of a small bar.

I'm not a professional gardener, farmer or builder but I've gotten knowledge and experience of lots of things throughout the years (like working on veggie farms, fruit orchards and permaculture lands). I can paint, do general maintenance tasks, help with ideas and projects :)

I always really like to learn new stuff about everything (and implement the things i have already learnt!
