  • Description

I am an outgoing 24 year old that loves to stay active, learn new things, self-reflect, laugh, lose track of time, and enjoy all life has to offer. I feel deeply motivated to help others to the best of my ability with my current understanding of reality. I have been embracing my inner foodie, meeting my appreciation for delicious, whole food meals. I have most recently been experimenting in the kitchen with sourdough which brings me such joy. The more I experiment with new foods, the more I want to make everything from scratch! This has been influencing me to want to learn how to have my own large garden. If I can reuse any food scraps in anyway I am all about it -- cooking and baking is an art!
I would also love to make my own wine from homegrown grapes someday.

I follow Dr. Joe Dispenza's work (if you have heard of him and the community) and am attending my first week-long retreat; in a small nutshell, his research studies the science behind meditation and how that influences the human body and physical reality.

I love staying active and being outdoors. I love playing soccer, zumba, going on hikes, foraging (I am a wicked beginner), rock climbing (also beginner), spending time at the beach (especially to do walking meditations), making art with seashells, and just plain old WALKING anywhere and everywhere!

  • More details about your skills

Before I state the "formal" skills from work experience, I would like to say the bit of food experience I have as I am most interested in learning how to garden, cook and bake better, and eventually learn how to make wine.

I have experimented growing my own kitchen herbs (basil, dill, oregano, mint, thyme) and keep my own sourdough starter to bake bread. I have made homemade nut butters and jams from foraged grapes; I love to bake and cook with all natural, whole food ingredients and have been reading about baking science; I did take a Biochemistry in the Kitchen class during my Undergrad which was arguably my favorite class (runner up after the Managing Change course). I worked at a small, organic bakery as well as an organic cafe where I gained experience with baking , FIFO, and Inventory Management. At the bakery, I was in charge of our triple ginger molasses cookies, snickerdoodle cookies, mindful muffins, breakfast cookies, granola, thumbprint cookies, linzer cookies, sugar cookies, pumpkin tea loaf bread, pureos (organic version of oreos!), crackers, and probably more that I may be forgetting. This woman had the most amazing confections - all homemade to order and her own recipes of course.

I meditate daily to center my mind and body, self reflect, and become more conscious of the person I am being. This helps my ability for emotional intelligence, self-regulation, resilience, optimism, and joy for life. I also love yoga :)

We have a family dog that is getting older, which helps me practice patience, and accept the nature of aging, being okay with change and adjusting to the new needs of the little fella.

I have worked in the restaurant industry for about 4-5 years, and with that have strengthened my organization, time-management, multi-tasking, team-work, and customer service skills. I am currently a lead marketing assistant helping with three healthcare companies gaining experience with Google Ads, Mailchimp, WordPress, and social media platforms. I recently finished my Bachelors Degree at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in Business with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. Here I participated in research to perform experimental operations management which enhanced my analytical and clerical skills. I was a member of Joy Tong Women in Business and served on the E-board as the Community Service Liason for a semester - we were working with Girls Inc of Greater Lowell which unfortunately had to close during this semester.

  • What else ...

I am looking to learn about: everything related to gardening, being a master chef with simple, whole food ingredients, baking amazing home-made bread and confections, learning how to preserve the abundance of food grown AND experiencing abundance through embracing it and sharing with others, learning how to make wine from grapes, dancing like theres no tomorrow, how to be a wise forager, learning how to build things, being a part of a community with people who are evolving themselves everyday and elevating the frequency of energy within them and around them.

I want to experience everything I want to learn to become a master of my interests!
