Hi everyone! I am originally from the midwest, and had taught for 10 years. Taking some time for myself to travel. I enjoy building connections with people, and places. I love hiking, kayaking, camping, and anything outdoors. I enjoy traveling and learning about the different cultures around me. My family is also very important to me, back in Wisconsin.

I can teach English. I can understand most Spanish spoken, but still can't speak it fluently. I have a lot of experience working with Spanish only speaking students from my teaching career so I have learned some.

Experience & Skills:

- I was a teacher for 10 years in Chicago working with students from Pre-k to 1st grade. I know how to work well with kids of all ages, and have a lot of experience tutoring 1st-5th graders as well.
- I have been a hostess at a high-end restaurant and have worked in customer service and can communicate effectively. I thrive in a fast-paced environment all with a smile on my face!
- I have a lot of experience in housekeeping. I have worked in Seward, AK for two summers cleaning yurts, cabins, a hostel, and Air B and B's. All units are unique and it's important to be detail oriented when cleaning.
- I pet and house sit often, and I love it! I have a special place in my heart specifically for dogs, but a lover of all animals. I have pet/house sat for about 10 years. Upon request, I can share my references and reviews on my Rover account for pet sitting.
- I can do general yard work, carry wood, gardening, and hands on work and if I don't know how to do something I can brainstorm and ask for help when I need it!
- I can cook and prepare a variety of meals and enjoy sharing them with good company.
I know how to use a computer effectively/type, and use Google Drive, Word, Excel, etc.

I am a hard worker and can learn anything once I am trained!
