Description
I quit my job in June 2024 as an engineer back home to solo travel across Asia for a year plus. I want to explore new places, new cultures and have new experiences. Eager to learn new skills and ways of living along the way.
Living near the peak disctrict i’m into nature and adventures. I love yoga, i try to meditate as much as i can (successfully and often not so successfully) so i want to learn more about holistic health.
Making people smile and forming authentic relationships is what makes my soul shine, so places where there is a strong sense of community would be great. I also love my own space to recharge every now and then (don’t we all).
When i’m not at work i enjoy discovering new music, DJing, singing and dancing. I’m trying to learn Japanese at the moment.

After finishing my master degree in chemical engineering i have worked as a project engineer for the last 5 years for a gas distribution company in the UK. This has given me great problem solving skills and shows i have an analytical mind. I have had hands on experience working on construction sites whilst in this roll. This also requires good team and interpersonal skills.
I'm great with animals. I had 2 large dogs and a cat growing up.
I am part of the Sangha of my local Buddhist centre in Sheffield where i lived. Here i gained skills in meditation and mindfulness.
I'm a friendly and out-going person who loves to form new connections so anything which involves interacting with other people is a good fit for me.

I have lent a hand with the communal allotments back at home so gardening is something i would like to get involved with whilst on my travels.
I have an A level in art, so if this is something i can support with in any way that would be a bonus too.
I've lived in shared accommodation for the last 10 years so i am no stranger to having to keep the space around my clean and tidy for others.
