Description

I left my previous job in 2022 to explore and work around the world, and at present am backpacking through India. I enjoy travelling but also like staying in one place for longer periods, getting to know people and feeling part of a community.

I have work experience in kitchens, gardens, hostels, and guest houses but my strengths lie in teaching: having spent 3 years teaching English in both a bilingual school and private language academy, and completing a 200 hour TEFL certificate. I am also on the verge of finishing a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training course with The Yoga Institute of Mumbai, and would love to use these skills through Workaway programmes.

I consider myself to be a calm but social person who prefers to be in nature somewhere: hiking, surfing, or cycling. I'm also a keen meditation practitioner and interested in volunteering at meditation and retreat centres.
