Hello everyone!
My name is Emmanuel and I’m 35 years old. I was born and raised in the Caribbean, in the Virgin Islands. I moved to the U.S. to attend university and have since lived all over the United States. I've been living in Los Angeles for the last 2 years, and was working in Madagascar before that, where I was posted in the Peace Corps 10 years ago! So in addition to living in Madagascar twice, I've also lived in Thailand, China, Italy, and have traveled to roughly ~40-50 countries. Now I live in Los Angeles, California. But looking to do some Workaway opportunities throughout SE Asia and Oceania the next few months! I’ve also been very fortunate to have traveled all over Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, South America, and the Caribbean. I look forward to traveling and helping out folks all over the globe in the spirit of cultural exchange, adventure, and service to others!

I’m very hardworking, outgoing, resourceful and versatile Workawayer, as I have a lot of experience doing physical and manual labor, as well as professional office and business environments. I have done a lot of farming and gardening in my lifetime.
Since my Workaway journey has begun, I've worked at B&Bs, agriturismos, and personal villas in Italy. I've done a lot of work making general repairs on and in homes, working with animals, farming, gardening, and have some ability to work with paint, cement, and plaster. In February 2018, I completed a 2-year stint as a Peace Corps volunteer in Madagascar!
I have over 5 years of professional work experience in industries ranging from real estate to insurance to education to agriculture in the fields of business development, sales, marketing, and international development. Additionally, I have worked with international NGOs and small businesses. I have very strong computer skills and knowledgeable in technology. I have strong data analysis and basic finance skills, as well.
At university, I focused in Economics, Environmental Studies, and Mandarin Chinese language.

I have been fortunate to live, work, and travel all over the world. From the Caribbean, but have lived all over the U.S., Italy, China, Thailand, and Madagascar (twice!). I love the outdoors! I enjoy spending time in, on, and beside the ocean. I am very active and enjoy fitness and exercise activities.
