  • Description

Hi there! I am a hardworking and detail-oriented person who has dabbled in many things like music production, performance, mixing audio for live events, football, badminton, wushu (a martial art), and horse riding. I love pets and animals in general, and currently have 2 cockatiels that are about 5 years old. I'm about to finish my 2-year conscription in the military and am looking for a working holiday before my university begins.

I've chosen Australia as my destination as I'm interested in experiencing life in a country with lots of land area, and the year-end temperatures there are similar to my hometown. I'm especially keen on riding or minimally being able to interact with horses – I think they are such magnificent yet cute and interesting creatures, and I would like a glimpse of what it's like to take care of them, which is something not offered here in Singapore. Hoping to find a suitable and welcoming host that I can learn from and offer some help with!

  • More details about your skills

I've taken an interest in leisure horse riding from late 2018 onwards, going on some trail rides in my neighbouring country Malaysia, before signing up for some horse riding lessons in which I learned standing trot and sitting trot. Unfortunately, covid restrictions kicked in and I couldn't attend lessons anymore. I also began my 2-year conscription early last year and was hence unable to restart learning.

I would say that I am a fast learner and able to do tasks independently after some hands-on guidance, and I'm open to helping with most activities, except for cooking which isn't exactly a strong suite of mine, though I'd be open to help in some preparation!
