Hi! I'm Simon and I try to make the most out of my youth, experiencing what life has to offer. I recently graduated from high school which makes it now possible for me to fulfill my dream of travelling the world. I'd say I am a pretty polite and pleasant person to be around. I love getting to know new people as well as learning new things since my curiosity is extremely wide-ranging. I'm passionate about music and computer science, but also love to cook, explore nature or do stuff like writing poems. I like partying as much as philosophizing under the stars. While in Japan, I am convinced that talking with native speakers would be incredibly helpful in order to improve my Japanese skills. Moreover it is always fun to learn a new language and I could offer to teach some German in exchange.

I bring a vibrant mix of creativity and critical-thinking skills to the table. I'm comfortable in both artistic and technical realms.
On the creative side, I can craft compelling visuals through art and design. I love writing poetry and philosophical essays (more of a hobby) and have experience in theatre as well as digital music production. I do play piano and saxophone occasionally as well.
My interest in computer science led me to dive into software creation early on. Creating visually appealing web, desktop, and mobile applications and games with outstanding UX is definitely one of my favorite activities.
In my small personal garden I had the chance to learn how to keep different plants alive. Most of them seem to be pretty happy so far. :)
I'm not that bad in the kitchen either when it comes to cooking delicous meals. Trying out new recipes is always a lot of fun.
Beyond that, I'm a fast learner, eager to jump in and contribute. My empathetic nature makes me a great fit for working with people of all ages. As I'm always willing to lend a hand and collaborate, I'm confident that my diverse skillset and positive attitude will make me a valuable asset to our Workaway experience together.

What else ...

There is little that I do not find interest in, especially when I'm in good company. I'm a sensitive person but undemanding. I truly appreciate aesthetics and atmosphere. While perfectionism can sometimes hold me back, it is also what often drives me to achieve great results!
