Description
Hi! We’re Ian and Grace, a couple from England taking a break from our careers to explore new parts of the world. We’re currently in New Zealand until at least March, and are already in love with this beautiful country. Currently, we're looking for Workaway opportunities from early January 2026.
We’re both kind, curious, and open-minded, and we’re especially keen on opportunities that will teach us something new or allow us to experience different ways of living. We particularly love the outdoors and would enjoy projects that take us outside.
Grace is interested in yoga and mindfulness, and back home practices aerial silks. She has just qualified as a psychologist, and brings lots of empathy, warmth, and good communication.
Ian is an animal-lover and a great vegan cook. He enjoys crafts, camping, running, and is super resourceful.

We are both enthusiastic and happy to get stuck into whatever is needed - even if its mucky, strenuous or a bit smelly! We work well as a team and independently.
Ian previously had an allotment and is knowledgeable about growing, though we would both love to learn more. Ian has also renovated a house, so has a few DIY skills and knows his way around a toolbox.
Thanks to previous paid and voluntary work, we both have hospitality experience and great people skills. Our skills extend to looking after furry friends too, having both previously been pet parents.
