I'm Ninah, 24-year-old Dutch girl who grew up between farmers in in the southwest of the Netherlands and moved to the city Rotterdam a couple of years ago. I just graduated from university and decided to travel around New Zealand to explore nature and learn about new cultures.

Being outdoors and nature, especially the ocean and the beach, makes me happy. I started sailing af the age of 6 and enjoy doing other (water)sports. Eating a lot of vegetables gives me a lot of energy and I’m interested in growing my own veggies. At home, I grew my own small salad bar on my balcony in the city for the last two years. I also love peanut butter on a sandwich. ‘A peanut butter sandwich a day keeps the doctor away!’

I'm eager to learn more about sustainable (vegetable) gardening and native nature in New Zealand.

Furthermore, during my studies, I tried to improve my lifestyle in a more sustainable lifestyle, and I want to learn more about sustainable lifestyles by exploring different workaways!

I’m Dutch and I would love to teach about my language and culture. My mother tongue is Dutch but I speak English quite fluently, but there is room for improvement! I’m also interested in learning a little italian, spanish and portuguese!

I’m an active, fast learning and hardworking person and I like to get my hands dirty!

I just graduated as a building engineer (architecture) in The Netherlands, I’m a handy person and can help fix things around the house. I can get around with some tools, but not really experienced, just helping my dad around the house.

Last August I picked fruits (blackberries and red currents) and green beans on a small fruit farm in The Netherlands.
