My next destination:
Estonia - from Jan 2025 until Aug 2025 View allDescription
Hello this is Tony from Hong Kong! Growing up in a subtropical metropolis cramped with 7 million people means that I have always dreamt of a quiet life in colder climate. This dream became reality when I resigned in the summer of 2024 and moved to Tallinn to study a liberal arts degree in humanities.
I worked as a lawyer for a few years; in the longer term, I hope to get freelance work reviewing contracts. In the meantime, I work as a food courier to help with expenses. However, these are all just different ways to survive in a capitalist economy. In terms of living, nothing surpasses the smell of fresh grass and total darkness after the sun goes down. I enjoy yoga and the outdoors, and would like to explore a more rural and self-sufficient lifestyle. Of course, there are still so many countries I have not been to, so mainstream destinations and exploring cities are also fine.Interests

More details about your skills
So far, my skillset is built around the white collar office environment (eg. legal drafting, copywriting). I do have some experience stacking shelves and working as the cashier in a convenience store, and over the past two months, riding an e-bike around Tallinn as a food courier. Basic life skills eg cooking, cleaning up, changing a light bulb is no problem at all; other things I may have to learn on the go.
I would say my biggest asset is an open mind that could embrace anything, and willingness to learn!Age

What else ...
I don't necessarily read a lot but hoarded a lot of e-books lol Same thing with films (I just watched Die Hard 1 and 2 for the first time in December 2024) despite a very long to-watch list that I never got to.
Similarly, I don't consider myself an expert in anything, but it is true that I'm curious about everything and anything. We can chat about life, moral dillemmas (all those memes about the trolley problem!), history (especially East Asia and the basics of 20th century), as well as things like video games, horoscopes and myths. I am agnostic at the moment (ie not strictly religious), but heard many bible stories from 12 years in church schools. Some more information
