UPDATE 2025 SEPTEMBER:
As I travelled around and did dozens of workaways, since I settled down in Paris I don't find much time for it and I become a cityboy, no idea how I was doing all the manuel works before, I need to regain the track.
So, I am thingking... I am looking for a deal not so far from Paris(in nature please), 1-2 hours with puclic transport TER, RER etc. that I can do some manuel work, garden etc. I don't need to be in Paris more then 1-2 days per week for next months(I am student at EHESS) So, I am open for deals, with less working hours and I can pay for my food(I eat vegan), I would love to if there are collectifs etc.
let me know if you have something out there....

note 2022; after all these years I become a student in Paris Sorbonne, having slightly more settled down life so far...
I'm someone from İstanbul who tries to make nice contacts with people...
I work in tourism industry but planning to quit soon and check out South America for next year.

I came to this place to stay 2 weeks but stayed 7 instead. Jocelyne and Jean-Claude very nice and helpful people, it is nice to be around them. The town is small and nice French, maybe there is not much things to do for long terms in it but there is always nice places to visit around the Pays de Loire and they will help you to do some visits… read more

Osman came to help us out for 2 or 3 weeks and stayed for two months . . . that says it all really.
A great guy to have around who worked hard and had a good attention to detail.

Osman stayed with us for two weeks, quickly learned how the hostel works and matched to the rhythm of the day. He was doing his job perfectly, always ready to help us, even when he had a day off. We will miss that guy, especially his pajama pants and funny turban on his head ;)
