my name is henry and I am from portland, oregon. i teach english and spanish. i study comparative linguistics and am particularly interested in native american languages of both continents and the question of how they are related among themselves as well as among language families across the eurasian continent and pacific islands.
in the past few years i have studied quechua in peru and mayan languages in guatemala.
