Hi there, its Hélène!

I'm currently in Iceland since last March! I came here to travel as a workawayer in a horses farm and I fell in love with the local people, the culture and the powerful landscapes of the country. I met amazing people and I could improve my English and my adapting skills. Now I found a job here in hospitaly until the end of August.

My next travelling step is going to South America and cross the continent from Argentina to Nicaragua! I can't wait to discover new people, new culture, and finally learn Spanish! Im mostly looking for an experience that will be able to a learn about the world! For me, that is why helping and living with local people is the best way to travel and to understand a culture.

I planed to join one of my best friend Clemence (you can see a picture of us next to a window in my gallery) ! She is funny and an experienced traveler. She also already did many workaways in Asia and Australia. Together we are a super good team! We love people, feeling helpfull, not afraid about physical tasks and very friendly!

As a farmer daughter, I've been involved in a lot of work on my father's farm, so I'm used to being in contact with animals. I'm also passionate about horses. I've been riding for several years.

I also helped an Icelandic family horses breeder during few month. I also helped with others tasks like cleaning guesthouses, housekeeping, help with the, the kids, painting, storage work...🐴🌱🐮🐾🦋

I graduated in interior architecture in September 2024. I did my master degree in work-linked with an architect and an interior designer, so i have some skills about office and computer tasks.✏️📚

I also like oustide work, handwork and physical work. My social side can also be usefull in service work. I enjoy meeting new people, discussing things and feeling helpful. So i can adapt myself, and I´m ready to learn new skills and offer my help with any tasks!!
