My name is Heath and like many others, I love to visit new places and experience new cultures. I am 27 years old and live in Charlotte, NC, USA. I love traveling and immersing myself in new cultures.

I speak English fluently and am trying to become fluent in Spanish!

Hello, my name is Heath. I'm an American, I have lived in Charlotte, North Carolina most of my life. I recently spent a year teaching English in South Korea. It was there that I got the spark for cultural exchanges. I loved being in another country so much, I couldn't wait to do it again!

I currently am a standardized test tutor here in the United States. I tutor all ages in English, Math, and Reading. (I actually tutored one student in Spanish once, haha!) I am a very kind and accepting person and very agreeable - I think you will get along with me just fine. I would be very grateful for for someone to show me about their culture and show me a little about where they live. I am a hard worker, I am low maintenance, and generally love to go with the flow. I am also an excellent English teacher! :)

At the moment, I am looking to stay in South America for about three weeks from December 15 to early January. (yes, I want to spend christmas with you!)

My Spanish level is okay, I have been studying very hard during the past 8 months. I think that we will effectively be able to communicate with each other, as long as you are patient with me!


Hola, me llamo Heath. Soy estadounidense y he vivido en Charlotte, Carolina del Norte, la mayor parte de mi vida. Hace poco pasé un año enseñando inglés en Corea del Sur. Fue allí donde me surgió la chispa de los intercambios culturales. Me encantó tanto estar en otro país, ¡que no podía esperar a hacerlo de nuevo!

Actualmente soy tutora de exámenes estandarizados aquí en los Estados Unidos. Soy tutor de todas las edades en Inglés, Matemáticas y Lectura. (Soy una persona muy amable y aceptante y muy agradable - Creo que te llevarás bien conmigo. Estaría muy agradecida de que alguien me enseñara sobre su cultura y me mostrara un poco sobre donde viven. Soy una persona muy trabajadora, poco exigente y, en general, me encanta seguir la corriente. También soy una excelente profesora de inglés :)

Por el momento, estoy buscando para permanecer en América del Sur durante unas tres semanas a partir del 15 de diciembre hasta principios de enero. (sí, ¡quiero pasar la navidad contigo!)

Mi nivel de español está bien, he estado estudiando muy duro durante los últimos 8 meses. Creo que seremos capaces de comunicarnos efectivamente, ¡siempre y cuando seas paciente conmigo!
