Description
We are primarily motivated to get to know new countries, cultures and people with their stories in a way that is not often possible as a "normal tourist". In addition, we would like to support sustainable, meaningful and ecologically valuable projects with our work. In addition, we like the atmosphere in nature and are curious about the diversity of plants and animals that we are not yet familiar with. As biology teachers, we are interested in the diversity of nature and the people who live in harmony with it.

Hey,
we are Johanna and Hannes (both 25 years old) from Leipzig. We studied teaching (Biology/History/Latin) at the University of Leipzig and are graduating in the winter of 2023/24. In our free time we do gardening in a community garden, go hiking and cycling a lot or end the day with a round of table tennis or badminton. Johanna has been working as a babysitter for 2 years. Hannes is a good craftsman and has been working for 5 years as a summer worker in a nature conservation association in the Alps. We bring a lot of joy for gardening and other activities in nature. As biology teachers, we are both very enthusiastic about the diverse flora and fauna, especially in tropical ecosystems, which we were not able to see until now. We are both very open, warm and cheerful people. A respectful and honest relationship with other people is very important to us. Eating vegan is not a problem for us.

We stayed at Luis’ place for over a week and helped him a lot with the house and garden. This place is really good, if you want to relax completely from ”fast travelling” and if you like the simple way of life (living without a car, electricity or refrigerator). Hannes and Johanna are a lovely young couple with great curiosity and work ethic. They were very respectful and responsible and worked with a great attention to detail. The centre is a better place thank to Hannes and Johanna. Good luck!
