Hi! I'm Hanna and I'm a university student of spanish and economics in Germany.
In 2020/2021 I spent 6 months traveling with workaway and I can say that it was the best time of my life so far.
Now I'd like to spend my next semester break traveling to get out of my comfort zone and meet people from different places and cultures and learn things that university can't teach me.
I'm a positive thinking person who is always up to good conversations and new adventures.
I really love animals and being outside in the nature.

In the last years, I worked at a camping site for one year and a frozen yogurt shop/café for two years. Right now I work as a bartender so I have some experience in working with people, serving guests and preparing food and beverages.

The Summer of 2020 I volunteered in a petting zoo which belongs to a hotel in Portugal where I managed to get experience in caring for different animals and working in the garden.

I also volunteered in hostels in Prague and Stockholm and an Italian hotel where I got knowledge of cleaning, working at the reception, helping in the kitchen and interacting with guests.

I really enjoy learning and speaking new languages. I'm fluent in German and English. I'm studying Spanish in University (level B1) but I'd love to improve my Spanish skills and practice more by talking to Spanish speakers.

Hanna is amazing! She is a very good person with big heart. She helped us a lot and brought joy into our lives. One word is not enough to say how grateful we really are. Besides Hanna is helpful, hard-working, cheerful, kind and so friendly. She truly became the member of our big family. Thank you for everything. We will miss you :)

I spent about three weeks at the hostel last autumn but unfortunately had to leave due to covid.

The work was as described, not too much or hard and Rafa was pretty flexible with the schedule so I had lots of time to see the wonderful city that Prague is.

Hanna is a amazing volunteer and was a great person to have here with us to help with our gardens and animals, we really enjoyed her company and she was so easy to work with nothing was ever too much.

This was my first Workaway experience and it set the bar really high.
The work is as it’s described, which is five hours a day, five days per week.
My work mainly consisted of caring for the animals which I really enjoyed doing so it didn‘t really feel like work.
