Hello, I'm Hailey! I was born in Singapore and currently study Media in York, England. Having travelled from a young age, my passion for it continues to grow along with my dream to be a travel writer. From going on spontaneous adventures to induldging in conversations with people from all walks of life, I find that the most meaningful moments often come from stepping outside my comfort zone and staying open to the unexpected.

I enjoy participating in hands on activities from sculpting and playing the guitar to baking and interior design. I love spending my days productively to keep myself busy; I'm always on the move regardless of where I am! When I'm not travelling you can either find me in my local record store or kneading cardamom buns in my kitchen.

I bring a mix of creativity, independence and genuine curiosity to every place I visit! My specialisation in Digital Media in the University of York has strengthened my communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Beyond academics, I’m a keen baker and enjoy sharing homemade treats, and I posess a strong knowledge of music—something I love exchanging with others across cultures. I'm also passionate about anything creative, specifically sculpting, interior design and writing and could spend hours devoting my time to it. Fun fact: I have a doll-sculpting account with over 50,000 followers!

Having grown up with animals, I’m confident, attentive and comfortable caring for them, and I naturally take responsibility seriously. I’m also an experienced and frequent traveller, which has taught me how to be respectful, self-sufficient and proactive in new environments. Above all, I value meaningful cultural exchange and always approach new hosts and communities with openness, reliability and enthusiasm.
