Description
Hello! We both come from special education teaching backgrounds and are now traveling and volunteering long term. We love working with students, being a part of new projects, exploring new places, being a part of a community,
backpacking, cooking... many different skills and interests we hope to share and develop with others around the globe.

We are both from New Mexico and grew up in the same small town in the rural desert. We have both been lucky enough to volunteer on Workaways all over the world! We love being a part of new projects and organizations and supporting amazing people in all corners of the globe.

We currently live in Albuquerque, the biggest city in New Mexico. We live in downtown with our beautiful cats, Frankie and Marceline. In our free time, Ben does Jiu-Jitsu and I (Hannah) do hot yoga. We love exploring the nooks and crannies of the beautiful desert we live in as well as the big world around us!

We have become avid fisherpeople (with much to learn!), hikers, and special education teachers with a passion for giving back to communities and helping people become more empowered and independent. We have a strong work ethic, passion for cultural exchange, and a love for building and fostering new relationships. We have helped at many different workaways and have learned so many new skills we are excited to share, such as small building projects, clean ups, activities with students, eco gardening, reforestation, and working with farm animals... just to name a few. 😊
