I might describe myself as a generalist, but I was motivated to join Workaway because I would like to spend more time working outside using my hands. I love to work with animals (horses, dogs, and wildlife), and I'd love to learn more about cattle and sheep farming. I would love to implement an Anaerobic Digester (biogas and fertilizer) project. I have experience using my "outdoor skills" on various cattle and horse farms, dog sledding tourism, hunting (horse wrangler), and expeditions. I've served as the Bird ID specialist on an expedition in India, and I participate in my own camping expeditions (multi-day river expeditions and motorcycle-camping trips). I have been motorcycle-camping through Africa from 2023-2024.
For my "indoor skills", I have become most proficient in online writing through blogs and the online marketing that it entails. I owned and operated my own copywriting business. This includes SEO and social media marketing. I'm familiar with most social media websites, and I'm most familiar with the X (Twitter) platform and writing newsletters. I have created some video content as part of a marketing plan.
