Activities i am interested in:
I love to cycle, swim and hike, I am an avid reader and document my life through photography. But most of all, I strive to find genuine, authentic people to share my ideas, passions and company with!
My next destination:
Pays de la Loire, France - from May 2025 until Jul 2025 View allDescription
Having recently graduated my degree in anthropology, I find purpose in fostering meaningful connection with people. I love to share ideas, stories and knowledge with as many individuals as possible because for me there is true wealth in the people you know. i keep fit with cycling and swimming, but want to try new sports that are more community based. When it comes to the kitchen, I follow in my mothers footsteps (she's a dietician) and see cooking and eating as an opportunity to combine creativity, community and care for our planet. i enjoy reading and writing as well as photography and hope one day to produce work that can have a positive and long lasting effect on those that resonate with my work and ideas. More than anything though, I am thrilled at the prospect of throwing myself into unknown circumstances, trusting in the kindness of others and my own abilities to adapt and thrive. I have had lots of experience bike packing and wild camping (camping sauvage en français) with friends. For me, open mindedness, communication and adaptability are the core themes/values that accompany travelling by bike and are not only great meditations for our everyday doing and being, but are also reflective of a mindset that I hold close to my heart. I feel a deep discomfort stirred by current socio-political events in the world and feel compelled to respond in both my thinking and actions. so its by being mindful about these values that I wish to make change in some way, whether thats on a local scale like volunteering for a food cooperative or a national scale like combatting oil giant lobbyists (the latter of which I am yet to achieve).
Currently I find myself at a cross roads. Having graduated, worked for a year and now quit my job, I hope that travelling like this will help me to recenter my mindset on the present moment, which is something im struggling with at the moment. I am thrilled at the prospect of what my future holds and the possibility of those who may be part of it. so im open to any new experience that comes my way. working with my hands, own my own, with others, for others, learning a new skill, making mistakes, its all on the cards.Interests

Throughout my childhood and into my early teens my family and I traveled to France (Mostly along La Loire) to camp for the summer. I was also taught French at secondary school so id like to think my understanding of written French is ok. I can usually get the idea of what a sentence might be about, so directing myself and reading reviews online is good. My conversational French however, is drastic, although im positive that with some exposure it can improve quickly.Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn
