Hi, I’m Greta, 19 years old and from Germany.
I grew up on an organic family farm surrounded by animals, nature, and sustainable agriculture - which taught me the value of hard work, responsibility and life close to nature.

I’ve just graduated from high school, and before starting my studies, I want to explore the world, broaden my horizons, and get to know new cultures. I’m positive, open-minded, and curious. Workaway feels like the perfect opportunity to step out of my comfort zone, learn from others, and contribute in a meaningful way.

I’m especially interested in sustainability and creative projects, as well as I’m happy to help with animal care, gardening, childcare, or household tasks. Even though I’m still young, I’m responsible, independent and eager to learn.

In my free time, I love playing volleyball, dancing, riding horses, and spending time outdoors. I’m excited to meet new people, share stories and create unforgettable experiences together.

- Several years as a waitress in a golf restaurant - confident, service-minded and team-oriented
- Internship at MASTERRIND, an international cattle breeding company, and summer job at KWS, one of the world’s largest seed producers
- Leadership experience as managing director of a district parliamentary group of a political party - planned events, coordinated teams and managed responsibilities
- Graduated high school with top grades, majoring in History, Biology, and Politics & Economics

Workaway Experience:
- Italy (2 weeks, surf camp): Helped with various tasks including cleaning surfboards, light gardening, cooking and babysitting a 4-year-old boy
- France, Pyrenees (2 weeks): Stayed with a French-Canadian family, helping mainly with gardening, organizing shelves and household chores
- Spain, Málaga (2 Weeks): Spent time with an 11-year-old girl, speaking English to help her practice, and assisting with some household tasks

What else ...

I’m an easy-going person, but I eat vegan. I haven’t been vegan for very long, so I’m still experimenting and getting used to it — but I really enjoy cooking and learning along the way. I don’t expect anyone to adjust for me, since I know it can be a bit complicated sometimes. I’m happy to plan and prepare my own meals, but I’d also love to cook together or share some vegan cooking tips if you’re interested!
I love living in a shared environment where everyone contributes in their own way. I believe that kindness, respect and open communication make any experience better.
