I made a lot of different experiences in my life so far and am always ready to learn more :)
HORSES
- I started horse back riding when I was eight.
-Learned a lot at different stables (dressage, trail rides, jumping, little bit of flat work, taking care of horses in general) but I'm very interested to expand my knowledge and to get to know YOUR way
-I've been riding very different horses (warmbloods, arabs, coldbloods, young ones, old ones, stubborn ones...) and in the past years I had 3 warmblooded horses as "shared" horses which I rode and cared for around 2-3 times a week while the owner was there the other days. At the moment I am taking care of the horse of a friend who studies abroad and work with a two year old Noriker who is basically a big baby 😉
-I also spent 3 month at a horse farm (16 horses and ponies) in France where I helped with the daily chorses (cleaning, mucking out the stables, feeding, preparing horses for children, taking walks with kids and ponies and moving and training horses) but also helped to move horses and everything else to a new farm. Me and another volunteer spent couple of days with the horses at the new place so the owners could finish work at the old place.
-I am used to English and Western saddles and bareback
-also got some experiences with dogs, cats, (milking) goats, ... and I love them :)
CHILDREN
- I've been an Au Pair for a Spanish family with 3 boys for 6 months
- looked after a couple other kids and helped them with their homework during my studies
- finished my studies to become a primary teacher
- I am now a teacher since 2021 teaching german, math, english, arts and craft to kids between 6 and 10 years
-organised childrens summer camps for CISV (international organisation)
- became a ski instructor and worked as one for 5 seasons during the winter holidays
ATTRIBUTES
-I am hardworking and don't care if I get dirty (worked in a cardboard factory for 7 summers and of course with horses who always find the right time to role in the mud 😉)
-I am reliable, punctual and good at keeping things in order
-I am flexible and can adapt easily to others families lifestyle
(lived with about 7 host families or workaway in Spain, Finland, Denmark, France, and Ireland so far)Age
29
What else ...
I like reading, hiking, swimming, playing card games, spending my time outside, love the company of others, but have no problem spending time on my own.
I am not picky about food. I like eating vegetarian meals, but also have no problem eating meat
