Description

Hi, my name’s Claire, I love meeting new people and I get on with anyone! Travelling is a huge part of my life, 32 countries and counting. Along the way I’ve met and learnt from some amazing souls. It’s always such a wonderful experience landing in a new country and immersing myself in the culture and food. I love to cook, often creating new dishes from scratch.

I am very sociable and have a positive and happy outlook on life. I really enjoy connecting with people on a deeper level. I’m also content with my own company and thoughts. I’ve acquired a broad range of skills and interests over the years that I want to share. I'm always willing to help, try new things and learn from others. I have a degree in interior design and I’m a photographer. I have recently renovated and redesigned our holiday let.

Yoga and meditation are an important part of my life, breathing is everything! I enjoy swimming, kayaking, hiking and gardening. I love being creative; making jewellery and mobiles from shells and sea glass that I collect on the beach and writing poetry.

In the past I’ve done a couple of volunteering opportunities. In Costa Rica I worked with the turtles and I did gardening in Hawaii.

I've just finished renovating our holiday let, using skills I’ve learnt from my degree and job in interior design. I’ve redesigned the entire space, refitting the kitchen and bathroom along with general painting and decorating.

I’m a photographer, working for years within the field. When I’m travelling I'm passionate about taking photographs of the local culture, to tell their story.

I’ve also got experience in hospitality, child minding, dog walking and house keeping.

I love helping Mum in our vast garden with planting, taking cuttings, pruning, hedge trimming, redesigning herbaceous borders. We have an abundance of beautiful trees and flowers, many of which are tropical thanks to our microclimate in Cornwall. Mum has taught me the names of many trees and plants. I’ve also been helping my Dad with some building work.
