Hi! My name is Gleb Katrenko, I’m 20 years old and I live in Warrington, UK. Originally I'm from Ukraine. I’m currently studying in university in Lancaster. My course is Politics and International Relations which reflects my passion for meeting new people and constantly learning new skills.
I’m a friendly, open-minded, and hardworking person. I don’t mind long days of work and I’m always willing to take on even the most modest tasks with a positive attitude.
I'm new to volunteering, but I'd like take the most out of it. Personally I think the best way to learn from life is from people. I'm passionated to meet and learn new people and new cultures.
Alongside my studies, I also worked part-time as a waiter, bartender and construction site employee. These jobs have taught me responsibility, adaptability, and reliability.
I would describe myself as responsible, curious, and reliable.
In my free time I enjoy playing football, swimming, learning new languages and spending quality time with friends and family.
I would like to become a Workawayer to gain a deeper understanding of new cultures and lifestyles around the world, but above all to help others and meet new people. I’m really looking forward to contributing, learning, and sharing experiences with my future hosts.
