  • Description

    Hello!

My name is Giorgia, and I am 20 years old. I have a Bachelor's degree in Physics and before continuing with my studies I have decided to take a gap year. It was my dream since my first year of high school, but because of many reasons (mainly covid and age :/ ) I decided to not go through with it then, and I acquired my diploma first. So now I'm more motivated than ever to have great experiences and help out wherever I can!

I love being in nature and working with my hands. I do a lot of crafts in my free time and I am also very active. I love playing board games and I can bring some to play with you! I find it's the best way to connect easily with others :)

I have moved countries quite a lot when I was young, which made me unafraid of new environments. I will always be motivated and passionate about any experience you will decide to offer me, and I hope we will get to meet soon!

More details about my language interests
I have lived in Italy, France and Chile and I have a great knowledge of English thanks to the international school I went to. I would be very happy to provide language assistance or to teach young children Italian, French or English. I would also be very happy to train my Spanish, because even though I understand it perfectly and I can communicate, I am still a little bit rusty when it comes to more complex vocabulary.

  • More details about your skills

I have had numerous experiences volunteering : I have worked at festivals, elementary schools and youth centers, and I have been a member of my university association for three years now.

I worked a lot in my grandparents' garden and I also know how to use the basic power tools because I needed to work with them during my research field work.

Also, my dad taught me how to do maintenance around the house, even though I cannot say I've become 100% proficient in that.

But in general, what I want to show is that I'm always ready to learn and I will never turn down an opportunity to do new things!

  • What else ...

My hobbies include reading, listening to/watching true crime and hiking or climbing with my friends. I also do plenty of manual activities such as crochet, sewing, painting and clay modelling. I am always eager to teach my friends those activities, and I have organised plenty of "craft girls' nights" to do so! In general, I have tried hundreds of different things and my interests always change! That is why I am always eager to learn new things and share my passions :)
