  • Description

I am motivated by curiosity and find great joy in connecting with people, places, and cultures. I find happiness in learning new skills, sharing experiences, and contributing to meaningful projects. Spending time in nature, staying active, and working with hands is an important thing for me, just as much as I love having a good conversation.

  • More details about your skills

My most recent skills come from my microbiology studies and from working as a microbiologist. While these kinds of skills might not always seem directly useful in everyday life, I believe that during this time I developed a lot of valuable qualities - such as attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to plan and carry out work efficiently.
Before my studies, and also during summers, I had the chance to travel and work in different places. I worked in restaurants and a hostel in the U.S., in a supermarket and a warehouse in Denmark, and in a restaurant and a climbing gym in Lithuania. Each of these jobs gave me opportunities to grow in different ways. I improved my ability to connect with people in all kinds of settings, learned to adapt quickly and solve problems, and strengthened my organizational skills. At the same time, I picked up many practical, everyday skills - like making coffee, cooking, providing good customer service, and keeping things tidy and well-maintained.
I grew up in a small town where my family lived on and ran a small farm. We had animals, a garden with many fruit trees, vegetables, and other plants. From a very young age I was involved in taking care of the animals and the environment around me. Planting, watering, weeding, and pruning were part of my daily tasks. Even though we don’t keep as many animals anymore, my family still has the property, and I go back regularly to help with garden maintenance, as well as small building or renovation projects.
Altogether, these experiences have shaped me into someone who is adaptable, hardworking, and comfortable taking on both detailed tasks and practical everyday work. I enjoy learning, working with others, and taking responsibility, whether it’s in a lab, a workplace, or outdoors in the garden.
