Hi there! I'm Georgia, a 24 year old girl who loves travelling. I am originally from England but lived in South Africa for 10 years. I completed my Bachelor of Social Sciences degree specialising in Organisational Psychology at the University of Cape Town towards the end of 2023. Since then, I’ve embraced the opportunity to live, work and volunteer in diverse corners of the world - from luxury hospitality in Australia and the USA, to teaching English in rural Sri Lanka, to community projects and conservation work in South Africa, Malaysia and Australia. Volunteering has been a huge part of my journey! I thrive when contributing to something meaningful and learning from the people I meet along the way. I feel very excited about my Workaway journey! I'm very easy going, hard working, adaptable and I love trying new things.

Education & Tutoring:
I have experience tutoring both university and school students across a range of subjects. Whether it’s one-on-one or in small groups, I’m comfortable creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
Gardening & Environmental Work:
I worked at a cassowary conservation garden nursery in Northern Queensland, Australia. Here I helped care for native plants and contributed to conservation efforts. The tasks that I helped with includes painting, planting, weeding, propagation and general garden maintenance.
Interpersonal & Team Skills:
I work well with others and enjoy being part of a team. I bring a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a cooperative approach to group work.
Hospitality and Customer Service Skills:
Through working in a variety of roles across the hospitality industry, I’ve developed strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for making people feel welcome, comfortable and cared for. My experience includes working in resorts, restaurants, bars and shops.
