Hi, I'm Georgia! I'm visiting from Brisbane, Australia, currently on a working holiday visa in Italy. I'm deeply passionate about food and how it's an outlet for creativity, connection, education and culture. I have a background in biomedical science and clinical research, but I am a self-taught baker and cake decorator. I'm also a very active person, and love running, hiking, CrossFit and olympic weightlifting. I am looking for opportunities to deepen my knowledge of Italian culture, art and food, and I think the best way to do this is by connecting authentically with people. I'm a very organised, hardworking and friendly person, and am very easy to get along with. I would love to meet you and offer a helping hand :)

I am fluent in English and learning Italian (my current level is very basic). I'm comfortable with teaching English - I'm very patient, friendly and good with children. I'm hardworking and persistent, and comfortable with manual labour. I'm strong and athletic, so happy with heavy or repetitive lifting. I'm experienced with working in a kitchen, and would love to help with cooking or cleaning. I play classical piano and have experience teaching it to children. I'd love an experience where I can learn more about growing, preparing and making food, or something where I can become immersed in local culture.

I am a passionate baker, with a particular interest in decorating cakes. In Australia I have my own business, Tallulah Bakehouse, where I create custom celebration cakes with pressed flowers and fresh fruits. I am interested in unique produce, local fruits and vegetables, and how these can be used to create interesting flavours and decorations.

I play classical piano, guitar and drums. I adore music and I love to share it with others. In the past I have taught piano. I also used to tutor science, mathematics and English to school students.

I am passionate about exercise - back in Australia I attend CrossFit 6-7 times a week, where we do intense workouts and olympic weightlifting. I love to stay active and challenge myself to try new skills.
