Hey everyone!
My name is Georgia and I’m a 24 year old from Australia.
I’m travelling to Canada on a working holiday visa at the start of October. I have a full-time hospitality job secured in Whistler for the winter snow season, starting mid-November. I'm looking for volunteer work while I find my feet in your beautiful country and search for a place to call home in Whistler.
I am an experienced brewer, bartender, bar manager and farm machinery operator.
I love keeping active and being in the outdoors, whether that’s running, hiking or mountain bike riding!
I value good company, but equally appreciate my alone time to listen to music or read whichever book I'm currently obsessed with.Interests

More details about your skills
My skills are largely attributed to my country upbringing and employment history.
Broadly, they are as follows: farm hand, farm machinery operator, fruit picker and packer, brewer, bar manager, food and beverage attendant.
I was raised on a farm in regional Western Australia which primarily produces Lucerne and Meadow hay for animal fodder. Having grown up on a farm, I learnt to drive tractors and safely operate forklifts and heavy machinery. The nature of farm work also taught me the value of hard work, adaptability and perseverance; qualities which I continue to apply in my day-to-day life.
My background also includes two years working in the craft beer industry as a Brewer. My role required me to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout all aspects of the brewing and fermentation process. I also learnt valuable time management and organisational skills, as I coordinated up to four brews at once whilst adhering to a strict time schedule.
I have also worked as a bartender and manager in a tavern and microbrewery. My experience as a bar manager taught me to resolve issues in an empathetic way, and remain level-headed when working under pressure.Age
