Description

I am 25 years old and have been (until Covid19 hit) working seasons and travelling. I have done 5 workaways and loved every minute of them. I am now in Central America with my artwork, painting and photographing the beauty out here as well as improving my spanish. My art is specialised in sustainable painting, using toxic free materials and natural pigments (www.georgiamorley.co.uk)

I started travelling as soon as I left school and have been drawn to it ever since. I have been in the hospitality industry for nearly 10 years now, from waitressing to management. Hospitality work has helped me get jobs as I travel. As a creative, I photograph and document all of my travels. At the moment I travel with my professional camera and have been helping small business and NGOs by providing content for their websites and social medias.

I graduated from studying performance sportswear design at university, focusing on design for the great outdoors. My skills are more on the artistic side with my studies orientating around art, design, marketing, photography, textiles and music. I am passionate about healthy food and living a positive, healthy lifestyle. I based the honours of my degree on environmentalism as I am also very passionate about the well-being of the planet. Hiking it also a big love of mine.

I have good people skills, language skills and a happy attitude to try new things. I wish to connect with the world and what it has to offer. I speak fluent french and am working to become fluent in Spanish as well. Whilst living in Cornwall I tried to make the most of my time there by spending my weekends volunteering for the Wave Project charity - a charity that takes in children who have various disabilities, mental health problems such as autism or are having a tough time and help them through surf therapy.

For my big Central/South American trip I have done one Workaway which I loved so much I ended up extending my stay twice.. I was nearly there 3 months. I loved working alongside the staff in the hostel doing anything required from photography work and big art murals to washing the dishes. I helped organise events for the hostel and helped teach art at a local school there. I love working in hostels/hotels because there is always a family vibe which I crave when travelling. I am honestly ready to get my hands dirty with anything!
