Hi, we’re George and Eleanor! We’re friends from uni, both 22 and from London (or near London), and travelling round South America for the first time!

We’re both very easy going and friendly, and are hoping to meet a whole bunch of new people as we go! We love hiking, camping, and just generally being outdoors, and are always down for an adventure, however random. We’d love to get to know all the different histories, cultures and places of the different countries we’ll visit in a bit more intimately, and Workaway seems like the perfect opportunity for this — as well as getting to know other travellers!

Work experience: working with kids (George as a volunteer for a summer camp for young people with disabilities, Eleanor as an au pair), hospitality work (waiting and bartending), teaching English as a foreign language, painting and diy, gardening and other manual labour work, retail, working with animals, admin and research work

Things we like: music, cooking, meeting new people, books, history, birdwatching, new cities, camping, hiking, art, card games, a good cold beer, great food, late evenings with good chats, nature (big mountains!), learning languages, animals, films, ice cream, exploring new places :)
