I’m happiest surfing, Mountain biking, Hiking, Trail running, Setting up camp while the Sun is going down.. Enjoying a beer.

Description

I am an enthusiastic and positive person by nature that loves meeting new people and getting involved projects. Am a Carpenter by trade but have spent years working on a farm which i think was grate introduction to working life. I would say all my leisure time is spent out doors although i do love to cook.. Am happiest surfing , mountain biking , climbing and hiking… and of course cooking and sharing food with the people I’m with.

I have a travel and work permit for Australia. And I intend to work as a carpenter subcontracting for one of the mining companies particularly in W.A.

I spent three years in BC travelling and for the first year I used Workaway and found it to provide some of the best experiences whilst travelling there. The people I met and the friends I made moulded the experience for the next two years of travel. I’m really looking forward to emulating this positive experience through to my travels round Australia.

I feel like i can turn my hand to anything practical really, And at the very least give anything a go. I worked on a farm for 9 years doing everything from birthing cattle , feeding , moving and handling right through to processing them in the small on site abattoir and butcher / farm shop. i then did 2 years as tree surgeon before moving on to carpentry. I am now a fully qualified carpenter in England with a level 3 diploma although i really do love all aspects of contusion.
