Description
Hi! :) We’re Flora and Lisa and we’re a couple currently living in Vienna. We would love to travel together this summer and explore different countries and cultures through Workaway. Here are more detailed descriptions of both of us:
I’m Flora and I’m from a small austrian village in the alps. After high school, I took a gap year in which I travelled around Europe a lot and did several workaways and voluntary projects that mainly involved gardening, renovation work, painting and animal care. I also worked as a waitress in a cafe, did a paramedic training course and worked for the ambulance for a few months. In 2023, I moved to Vienna, which is where I met Lisa :). I study biology and I’m generally very interested in science, nature and outdoor activities. I’m a big animal lover and I like drawing, painting and all kinds of art projects. I’m fluent in German and English and I also speak a bit of French.
My name is Lisa and I'm 21 years old. I come from a small village in the mountains of Northern Italy and now I live in Vienna where I go to university. I've been studying history and German for two years now and I'm really enjoying it. Before I started studying, I attended a graphic design school. Now I occasionally work on creative projects in the field of print design. I also worked for a small publishing house in Vienna and as a sales assistant for a while. In my spare time I like to write poetry and I read a lot (so I'm always grateful for book recommendations :)). I like to cook healthy dishes, collect herbs and practice yoga. My mother tongue is German, but I also speak fluent Italian and English. Two years ago I travelled around Europe in the summer with Interrail, which was a great experience.
As we want to see as much of the world as possible and get to know different cultures, languages, people and places, we want to travel again this summer. We're open-minded, easygoing and looking forward to trying and learning all sorts of things!

Lisa is good at writing and graphic design and knows a lot about herbs.
Flora has worked with animals (horses, sheep, dogs,...) a lot and can draw/paint.
